It's that time again...

No not christmas; It's time for a new version of 3D Studio MAX

Version 7;
Boasts a rather good looking set of new features as well as some actually nifty interface changes (I've never said THAT before!)

The lighting system has been upgraded with a more dense distribution of light particles resulting in smoother lighting. Sleek huh?

I'm liking it so far; it's gonna take me a while to go through all the new features and try them out, but they all look very promising.


Going to be setting up a small render rig, probably later today or tomorrow; it's kinda a joke having my 2.5ghz laptop with it's INTEL CHIPSET video card trying to render in MAX let alone run it.
Half-Life 2 is coming; and I'm almost ready for it.
